Decision-making made simple: determining your priorities
When you know what’s most important to you, making a decision is quite simple. ~ Anthony Robbin
Recently I was invited to join other ladies in my community for games and lunch. Despite a full day of writing on tap, the first thing I did was try to figure out how to make it happen. But then I realized I was going about it all wrong. Because for the past year since leaving my full-time job to pursue full-time writing, I’ve been working my writing life around everything else. Instead, I need to acknowledge that writing is not something I do for fun (even though it really is)—but is a full-time vocation and business I must work everything else around. I’m still trying to rearrange #allthethings for better balance, but syncing my priorities with my goals has helped me eliminate second-guessing when I plan my days. And empowers me to work in opportunities to make connections when I can.
What do you need to make a priority?
