Highlighting the wins: an exercise in celebrating our achievements
On the last day of 2024, I received an email from another author who suggested beginning the year by filling a page with my accomplishments—big and small—from the previous year. A few that ended up on the list included walking 10,000+ steps for 249 consecutive days (and still going strong); the release of my debut Harlequin Love Inspired novel, sale of my second book (July 1st release date!), submission of my third proposal, and three sales of stories to other publications. In addition, I learned that my heart defect is unchanged (good news!), my labs indicate partial improvement, and my husband, Bob and I traveled to Colorado to visit our daughter. We also had our roof replaced; installed new plumbing, insulation, bathroom vanities, and a water heater. This exercise not only reminded me of the importance of celebrating each milestone moment, but I realized I’ll probably achieve just as many, if not more, in the months ahead.
What wins are you celebrating from the previous year?

Congratulations, I’m very impressed, that’s amazing, awesome and exciting, and good luck with your third Love Inspired proposal!
