Synchronicity at work: trusting the power of prayer
syn·chro·nic·i·ty | \ ˌsiŋ-krə-ˈni-sə-tē , ˌsin- \ plural synchronicities: the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events… that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality… ~ Merriam Webster
In my post, “Divine interruptions,” I wrote about a power outage—an incident that occurred summer of 2021 when my husband and I embarked on a new venture, and which involved making an offer on a parcel of wooded property with plans to build a cabin from the ground up. At the very beginning of our journey, we had turned to scripture and prayed for wisdom and guidance. Admittedly, we ignored the smattering of red flags that dotted our course. However, the night before meeting with our realtor, a power outage took place in the community, including our rental cabin, that removed distractions and forced us to confront these red flags. Now, months later, we’re still convinced we made the right choice. And continue to trust the power of prayer.
When have you experienced synchronicity?
