Choosing the right path: answering the question
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. ~ Proverbs 3:6
How do you know you’re on the right path? The closed doors—or in our case a power outage—seem obvious. Yet what about when details fall into place, doors open, it looks like a done deal and then wham!? You faceplant into a detour sign, road closure or fork in the road. Which way do you go? Or do you turn around and get off at the last exit? As I wrote this post, I was looking for my own assurance—smack dab in the messy middle of a new venture—a neon question mark flashing on and off above our path. Unsure of which route we should take, my husband and I realized they all looked similar. We prayed for guidance, and we learned it’s not always about a right or wrong way. But about following the One who directs our steps.
How do you know you’re on the right path?
