Summer blog series: extending hope through happy endings

You can’t just hope for happy endings. You have to believe in them. ~ Nora Roberts

Welcome to week no. 4 of my summer blog series! In case you missed the first three posts, I talk about how we can extend hope through words of encouragement, acts of service and the gift of laughter. Another way to offer hope to others is by openly sharing our hearts—and the prospect of a happy ending. I believe at some point during our lifetime, we’ll meet people who’re navigating difficult circumstances similar to one or more that we’ve personally walked through. And these individuals need to hear that it’s not only possible to survive in the midst of the challenge, but also to thrive on the other side. While we may have suffered bumps and bruises along our journey, these trials have the ability to become our testimonies if we, too, hold onto the belief in happy endings.

Which of your happy endings do you share to offer others hope?
